Self-Sabotage

Feeling just a little bit negative now

Doesn’t make sense but I’ll figure it out it’s cool

I just need a minute or two

I’m an evil insider threat to myself

Trading moments of heaven for minutes of hell it’s all good

I’d change it if I could

Self Sabotage is my Christian name

I’m the winner and the loser I’m the king of giving it away

I give it all away

I’m pretty much waiting for the phone to ring

And call me out on all the holes in my abilities it’s fine

But weighing heavy on my mind

Even when it all lines up just right

I can feel the fear and doubt creeping up in my mind it’s ok

It’s probably just something I ate

Self Sabotage is my Christian name

I’m the winner and the loser I’m the king of giving it away

I give it all away

Self Sabotage is my Christian name

I’m the winner and the loser I’m the king of giving it away

I give it all away

I look at me in the mirror every morning I guess

I say I love you and you got it and I think you’re the best I believe

I really don’t believe

It’s pretty clear that it’s always been me against me

Giving audience to all of my anxiety it’s alright

It really ain’t alright

Self Sabotage is my Christian name

I’m the winner and the loser I’m the king of giving it away

I give it all away

Self Sabotage is my Christian name

I’m the winner and the loser I’m the king of giving it away

I give it all away

That’s my Christian name

In this lifelong game

Number Six

Well, I tried to be fairly productive in 2023 and I think I accomplished that. Five new singles ain’t too bad. There is definitely an EP or a full album on the horizon, but right now I’m just enjoying the process. Speaking of which- look for the next single on March 15! That’s a week from tomorrow just in case you were looking at your calendar, but be sure and save the date. Listen, I really appreciate the response and feedback I’ve gotten- please keep that coming. Let’s go 2024!

A Moment….

If I could take a few seconds of your day… you know that seems like a good line in a song. Have to remember that one. Ok- just a couple days away from the first new song I’ve released into the wild since 2016. Look, I write a lot of sad stuff but this ain’t gonna be one of those. But don’t fret, I’m sitting on a pile of tunes that will get you right down in the dumps! No, this one is pretty chipper. It’s also the first song I’ve ever written, produced, recorded every happy note, argued about and passed silly gifs back and forth to my dog, all by my lonesome. It’s the first to come out of my home ‘studio’. I can’t promise there won’t be other iterations of it, but I can promise I will appreciate anyone that takes a listen to it. 😉

Can’t Make It To A Show?

I know folks are busy and all that good stuff. That said, I would love it you had a few minutes to pop online and check out a couple tunes. I try to stream most of my shows live on Facebook depending on the internet connection. So- please check it out when you can! Here’s one from a couple weeks ago.

New Orleans!

Well, after a couple shows down in New Orleans we are back in Gadsden! We learned a lot, played a lot, ate a lot and met a lot of great people down there. I hadn’t been to NOLA since about 2001, and even though the times have tried to bring that town down it is still rocking a long. There is a lot of magic in that place and I’m glad we had the chance to be a part of it. Here’s a clip from one of the shows!

Hey everyone- the wait is over! You can grab the new album ‘Southern Eyes’ from iTunes, Amazon or Spotify. Or you can get it straight from the link below. Thank you for your continued support and we will see you soon in concert!
