Everybody mark your calendars for April 5th! The Jeremy Jackson Band will be performing at the Rainbow City Chocolate Festival in Rainbow City, AL. We’ll be going on at 3:30! Also, we have added several new songs to the set. This is a great outdoor event for the whole family so make plans to be there!
The Jeremy Jackson Band will perform as a part of the Music Center Concert Series on Thursday, October 24th. The 7 PM concert will be the second on the series, which is presented at The Music Center at Temple Beth Israel at 761 Chestnut Street in downtown Gadsden.
Tickets for the concert are $12 each and may be purchased online at www.eyomusiccenter.org, or in person at the Front Desk of the Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts.
After our show at Riverfest was canceled due to rain I went up to the beer garden and played an unplugged set. Seriously, there was no pa system and about 200 people. Thanks to Brandon Murray for catching this on video! Also, I’m pretty sure that was the third string I broke.
Well, Riverfest 2013 didn’t turn out like we had hoped due to the weather, but we are confirmed for Riverfest 2014. I did get the opportunity to go up to the Riverfest Pub and perform and acoustic set for an amazing crowd of around 200 huddled under the beer tent. They were extremely receptive and I was overwhelmed with the response. Another bright side- we ended up hanging out with Corey Smith and his band at Blackstone Pub and Eatery later that night. Travis Posey was kind enough to let me play a few and then Corey Smith and his band got up and played a few also. All in all I think the evening was salvaged as much as possible. Here are a few snapshots from the day. Thanks to Chael Barber for the video of the soundcheck!
Stop by youtube and check out a new tune from the new EP that will be available very soon!
